Marine & Port Facilities
At ports, there’s no room for downtime. Cargo must move, systems must perform, and equipment must hold—rain, salt, or surge.
Tillson Industrial supports marine terminals, shipping facilities, and industrial dockside sites with turnkey mechanical and rigging services.
From crane bases and pump stations to skid-mounted systems and facility upgrades, our teams install, align, relocate, and secure equipment with zero rework and total accountability.
We work fast—but we never rush. Safety and precision are our anchors.
What We Support
Our field crews specialize in tight quarters, active terminals, and live facility environments.
Tillson supports:
- Pump and compressor systems at marine terminals
- Rigging and setting of mechanical skids and MCCs
- Structural base fabrication and epoxy grouting
- Equipment anchoring and vibration isolation
- Removal and relocation of legacy equipment
- Alignment of motors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes
We can mobilize to portside cranes, dock-mounted units, utility skids, and marine infrastructure areas—anywhere mechanical precision meets operational urgency.
Why Terminal Operators Call Tillson
Marine and port facilities operate under pressure. Equipment failure leads to:
- Cargo delays and fines
- Berth congestion and demurrage costs
- Environmental and safety risks
- Emergency repairs at premium rates
Tillson eliminates those risks at the mechanical level. Our installs don’t require second visits. Our anchors hold. And our alignments last.
Our Mechanical Rigging & Install Process
1. Walkdown & Lift Plan Development
We evaluate rigging paths, base conditions, crane access, and lift points. Obstructions, obsolescence, or time constraints? We account for them all.
2. Disassembly & Transport (if required)
Equipment is disconnected and moved safely using certified rigging practices and proper lift techniques. Whether it’s onsite repositioning or a full relocation—we handle it.
3. Foundation Prep & Base Setting
We fabricate or repair mounting bases, install Chockfast® grout, shim and level, and torque anchors. Every install is verified for long-term integrity.
4. Reinstallation & Alignment
We set, align, and couple all components to OEM and API standards—pumps, fans, motors, compressors, skids, or MCCs.
5. Final Support & Closeout
Our crews remain onsite through torque audits, alignment verification, and post-lift documentation. We leave your system ready to run—no loose ends.
