Grouting And Foundation Services
Even the most advanced equipment can’t perform if it’s sitting on a cracked slab or underleveled base.
That’s why Tillson Industrial delivers precision grouting and foundation work that sets the stage for long-term alignment, vibration control, and mechanical success.
What We Do
We provide full-scope industrial grouting and foundation services using high-strength epoxy and cementitious materials. Whether we’re anchoring a 40-ton compressor or building up a skid pedestal from scratch, we make sure your base is solid, level, and load-ready.
We handle:
- Epoxy grouts (Chockfast®, Five Star®, and more)
- Cementitious grouts for large-footprint or mass pours
- Anchor bolt setting, layout, and leveling
- Skid-mounted and standalone foundation builds
- Pedestal fabrication, grout keys, and reinforcement integration
- Corrective regrouting or cracked base remediation
Every base we pour is aligned with your specs, your layout, and your risk tolerance.

Why It Matters
Your base is your foundation—and if it fails, everything above it follows.
Grout is more than filler. It transfers dynamic load, absorbs vibration, and locks in alignment. If it’s cracked, too thin, poorly leveled, or improperly cured, you’ll see the fallout in seal failures, shaft drift, and anchor bolt fatigue.
We’ve seen it all:
- Cracked grout causing vibration and coupling damage
- Loose anchors shearing off under load
- Soft foot from uneven grout distribution
- Premature bearing and seal wear due to flexing frames
- Equipment misalignment caused by base settling
We’re here to prevent that. Or fix it—if someone else already made the mistake.
How We Get It Done

1. Surface Preparation & Layout
We start by leveling and roughening the foundation surface to ensure bond integrity. Anchor bolt layout is completed using templates or engineered drawings. All debris, oil, and contamination are removed.
2. Forming & Leveling
We install formwork that allows for proper flow and venting of grout material. Baseplates are shimmed and leveled with precision to ensure accurate elevation and alignment targets.
3. Grout Pour & Monitoring
We pour epoxy or cementitious grout—depending on load, environment, and vibration requirements. Flow, volume, and curing conditions are closely monitored to avoid shrinkage or air pockets.
4. Curing & Form Removal
Once set, forms are stripped and grout is inspected for integrity. Anchor bolts are torqued to spec. Final leveling is verified.
5. Final Alignment & Verification
We confirm shaft alignment, correct soft foot, and validate that the system is mechanically locked into place. If needed, we’ll perform laser alignment and produce torque/alignment documentation.
When to Call Tillson
- New installs needing a properly grouted base
- Retrofits where old grout must be removed and replaced
- Cracked grout remediation from vibration or base failure
- Anchor bolt reset and reinforcement
- Precision alignment support following foundation work
If your equipment is shifting, vibrating, or failing prematurely—start at the bottom.
Where We Work
We perform grouting and foundation work across:
- Refineries and petrochemical plants
- Compressor and pump stations
- Manufacturing and food production facilities
- Power generation and water treatment plants
- Skid-based and modular field projects
Whether it’s a pedestal pour in a fab shop or a regrout during a plant turnaround, we make sure the job is done right—and built to last.
The Tillson Standard
We don’t patch. We build to perform. When it comes to foundations, shortcuts lead to shutdowns. That’s why Tillson’s crews follow proven procedures, trusted materials, and verified tolerances—no exceptions.
Grouting isn’t cosmetic. It’s critical. And we treat it that way.
